Report an Illegal use of the title “Interior Designer”

While anyone may say they do “interior design”, only ARIDO Registered Interior Designers, are legally authorized to use the protected title “Interior Designer”. Interior design extends far beyond aesthetics; ARIDO Registered Interior Designers are qualified through a rigorous process of education, supervised work experience, and examination. They are trained to create environments that are functional, safe, and visually refined, helping clients achieve their goals with expertise and care.

ARIDO Registered and Intern members are required to maintain professional liability insurance, engage in ongoing professional development, and uphold a strict professional code of ethics and standards of practice.
To help safeguard the public and uphold the integrity of the profession, you may anonymously report any individual you believe is illegally using the title Interior Designer. ARIDO will conduct a confidential and thorough review to verify the information provided.
