Public Awareness Campaign – Photo booth activation for Registered members at the ARIDO AGM ’25

ARIDO’s 2023-25 Strategic Plan includes Reinforcing Value as a primary goal. Specifically, ARIDO has committed to striving for cultural betterment of the interior design industry with the end goal of increased value within the community, and increased awareness by the public and end users of the value of interior designers. To fulfill this commitment, ARIDO hired Lemonade Limited, a branding and marketing company, after issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) in spring 2024.
The upcoming public awareness campaign centers around building consumer awareness on the ARIDO Registered Interior Designer credential and the qualifications one must meet to use the title Interior Designer in Ontario.
This year’s IDS show in Toronto was ARIDO’s first opportunity to showcase the upcoming, elevated approach as to how the campaign will demonstrate ARIDO Registered members being different than non-registered designers, and how the campaign can integrate our members into the strategy by showcasing the power of ARIDO and our Membership.
Photos along with a bold visual were taken with Registered members who stopped by the ARIDO booth. ARIDO is integrating these photos in our upcoming campaign and Registered members also received a copy enabling them to use them to support their business, showcase their credentials, and have a promotional piece that helps Registered members stand out amongst the sea of sameness.
This opportunity will also enable Registered members to be part of ARIDO’s upcoming “Credentials Matter” campaign.
We will also include this photo opportunity at the ARIDO AGM ‘25 to be held in Ottawa on March 28th along with an opportunity for all other Registered members across Ontario to participate. We will be building opportunities for members to participate over the coming months to ensure no Registered member is left out.
Each Registered member that participates receives an advertising asset they can use on social media, in print, or within digital. This will also assist Registered members in showcasing their professional standing in the industry and highlight their commitment to credentials.
The asset allows members to select from several different ads that align with the upcoming campaign and integrates the Credentials Matter branding.
For those Registered members who were unable to participate in IDS or the ARIDO AGM ‘25 in Ottawa, and obtain their photo or this marketing asset, ARIDO will continue rolling out this campaign and offering Registered members additional opportunities to participate, have their photo taken and obtain their marketing materials. We will announce within the coming weeks, dates where an additional photoshoot will occur at the ARIDO offices at 43 Hanna Ave in Toronto.
