Join ARIDO’s Reviewer & Assessor Pool!
ARIDO is recruiting experienced Registered and Registered Educator members to serve as ICRS Reviewers and RIDA Assessors.
These volunteer roles help support fair, consistent, and competency-based pathways to registration in Ontario. Reviewers and assessors evaluate applicant evidence, provide constructive feedback, and help uphold the standards expected of qualified interior designers.
This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the profession and support the priorities of the ARIDO Strategic Plan 2026–2028.
Why Apply?
As an ICRS Reviewer or RIDA Assessor, you may be asked to:
- Review applicant submissions
- Assess evidence against established criteria
- Provide clear, constructive written feedback
- Participate in orientation and evaluation activities
- Support consistency, fairness, and public confidence in the registration process
Who Should Apply?
Applicants should be Registered or Registered Educator members with at least 10 years of practical experience since becoming registered with ARIDO.
Retired Members are also eligible to apply for the ICRS Reviewer role.
Ideal candidates bring:
- Strong professional judgement
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience reviewing, evaluating, mentoring, or providing structured feedback
- Awareness of current registration requirements and education equivalencies
- A commitment to objective assessment and managing personal bias
Bilingual Reviewers Needed
ARIDO is especially seeking English/French bilingual members for ICRS reviews. Members who can review applicant materials in both languages are strongly encouraged to apply.

Selected volunteers will complete an entrance evaluation process to determine suitability. These roles may be eligible for a modest stipend.
