Summer Social by ARIDO and DesignTO

In Old Town Toronto, a shared space brings together Italian kitchen manufacturer Arclinea and Spanish furniture company Andreu World. Arclinea, known for its precision-engineered systems and long-standing collaboration with architect Antonio Citterio, brings a refined architectural approach to the kitchen as a living space. Andreu World, a company recognized by its award-winning seating and contract furniture, is defined by a balance of craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainable design across residential and commercial settings.

The showroom was designed by Guido Constantino Projects and received an Award of Merit for Retail and Hospitality at the 2026 AZ awards. The space allows for both brand identities to come through independently while keeping the environment continuous. The building’s original yellow brick was left exposed as a unifying element, with shifts in the floor marking the transition between brands. 

Guido Costantino Projects is a partnership between Domenica Rodà and Guido Costantino, and a collective of talented collaborators. The design studio is agnostic to size, scale, and type, having worked on projects ranging from product design, hospitality, offices and private residences. The studio embraces a thoughtful process of forming and doing, and undoing, of play and practice, to allow a designed thing to emerge from a series of abstracted and tested ideas. Their work is characterized by a strong sense of materiality, restraint and a respect for stillness in architecture and space.

We curate exhibitions, presentations and educational programming to increase the public’s knowledge and appreciation of design. As Canada’s largest annual design festival, DesignTO has welcomed over 1.2 million attendees, reached 2.6 billion people through media, and showcased 7,500+ artists and designers since 2011.
