Our client approached us with an ambitious vision: transform a traditional bank building into a futuristic flagship location for his growing energy trading company. Our renovation leveraged the building’s exceptional architecture while embracing a cutting-edge aesthetic and comprehensive wellness focus.

Our design strategy capitalized on the building’s natural advantages. The original open teller floor provided an ideal foundation for collaborative trading desks, while the mezzanine level naturally accommodated executive offices with strategic oversight of operations below. Rather than fighting the traditional banking layout, we enhanced it with futuristic design elements that complemented the building’s classical proportions, creating a workspace that felt both timeless and ahead of its time.

A futuristic aesthetic was achieved through curved drywall forms, natural stone elements, and integrated LED lighting. These sleek, modern features contrasted with the building’s classical bones, establishing a premium environment that projected both innovation and stability.

Employee well-being guided every design decision. We integrated a full spectrum of wellness amenities addressing physical, mental, and social needs to support the diverse workforce. From fitness and relaxation areas to spaces for personal care and connection, every team member found tailored support.

Flexible, ergonomic workstations with advanced tech integration optimized comfort and productivity. A raised flooring system throughout the trading floor met the extensive electrical and data demands of high-frequency trading, while allowing adaptability for future growth and evolving tech.

Each executive’s mezzanine office was custom-designed to reflect their leadership style and functional needs, all while aligning with the brand’s cohesive design language. This personalized yet unified approach, combined with the strategic vantage point above the trading floor, reinforced a culture of connection, oversight, and dynamic collaboration.

Our design honored the building’s heritage while creating a next-generation workspace where traditional banking grandeur provided the perfect stage for modern business operations and exceptional employee care.
