Canadian Commercial Corporation Headquarters
The design strategy for Canadian Commercial Corporations’s new headquarters was rooted in reflecting the organization’s dual role as both a Canadian federal agency and a global trade facilitator. We sought to create a space that embodies commercial diplomacy balancing Canadian humility with global sophistication.

The CCC headquarters successfully reflects its diplomatic role through design choices that balance sophistication with modesty. The use of refined materials, such as wood millwork, coffered acoustic ceilings, and curated Canadian art, projects quiet confidence, aligning with CCC’s identity as a trusted facilitator of international government-to-government contracts.
Hospitality-driven strategies elevate the visitor experience. From the soft seating and warm lighting in the reception lounge to the layered mesh curtains framing breakout zones, each element softens the tone from institutional to guest-oriented.

The central lounge exemplifies the goal of flexibility and collaboration. Modular red seating integrates with adjacent meeting rooms, allowing the space to transform quickly for events, presentations, or informal gatherings.
Employee well-being is embedded in every detail: ergonomic workstations, acoustic zoning, daylight access, and varied seating options offer comfort and control. The staff lounge featuring custom banquettes, bar-height counters, and chainmail screens encourages decompression and community.

Finally, future-forward thinking is evident in the open office zones, where mobile desks support personalization and adaptation. Color-blocked corridors, intuitive spatial zoning, and fully accessible amenities ensure an inclusive and equitable experience for all users.
