A Holistic Full Renovation in Lorne Park
Originally a fragmented 1970s build in Mississauga with poor flow and limited natural light, this home was taken back to the studs and completely reimagined. Our goal was to create a layout that champions wellness, natural light, and functional minimalism, proving luxury can feel both refined and deeply personal.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen balances performance with calm. Upper kitchen cabinets were removed to maintain a clean sightline, replaced with white oak tall storage and open shelving. Expansive windows now flood the space with light, enhancing its airy feel.
A custom island with soft, curved edges mirrors the sculptural plaster hood, introducing a sense of movement that offsets the home’s linear architecture. To preserve a streamlined look, the appliances were fully concealed, with triple pocket doors discreetly hiding the coffee station when not in use.

The ground floor was reconfigured for year-round Canadian living, maximizing function without compromising comfort. A relaxed living area supports everything from quiet family time to summer entertaining, all with views of the backyard and pool.

For contrast, the powder room makes a bold statement. Wrapped in a deep blue hue, it features a custom fluted Purple Lilac marble sink and matching mirror, paired with polished nickel details for a dramatic, elevated finish.
Designed to feel joyful and expressive, the main bathroom serves as a vibrant counterpoint to the home’s neutral palette. We paired dynamic, colourful geometric floor tiles in earthy terracotta and blues with vertical blue-and-white striped wall tiles, creating a space that is bright, energetic, and perfect for kids or guests.

“We design for the feeling, not just the photo. True luxury is a home that helps you sleep better, think clearer, and breathe deeper.”- Jude Kamal, ARIDO
By stripping the home back to its studs, we reimagined the layout to prioritize wellness, natural light, and functional minimalism proving that a home can be both a luxury statement and a deeply personal sanctuary.
