ARIDO Seeking Interviewers/Assessors for Examination Alternative!

ARIDO seeks a diverse group of experienced Registered interior designers to serve as interviewers/assessors for our upcoming examination alternative Entrance Interview process. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating applicants' readiness for unsupervised practice and upholding the profession’s high standards. Bilingual (English/French) individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Who We Are Looking For:
- ARIDO Members: Senior-level practitioners who are ARIDO Registered members, including dual ARIDO & OAA members. OAA members must be a Licensed Architect in good standing.
- Other Association Members: Registered or qualified Members of other Canadian provincial interior design associations in good standing.
Your contribution:
- Participate in panel interviews (3 interviewers) with applicants.
- Periodically acting as the interview panel chairperson.
- Assess applicants' on established competencies using set questions focused on the Practice Readiness Program and Practice Plans.
- Assign ratings based on scoring guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to applicants.
- Uphold the integrity and standards of the ARIDO registration process.

Eligibility:
Please note that individuals who have been involved with the Council for Interior Design Qualification, Inc. (CIDQ) related to the NCIDQ exams in the past five years or currently, including holding positions, participating in task forces, or serving as committee members, and who have signed and are bound by CIDQ confidentiality and conflict of interest agreements, are not eligible.
