How Coty’s Toronto headquarters set a new design standard for their offices
Coty is one of the world's leading beauty companies with approximately $9 billion in revenue, a rich entrepreneurial heritage, and an iconic portfolio of leading brands. In the midst of a historic merger, Coty moved their Canadian headquarters to downtown Toronto, increasing their employee capacity 3-fold.

The new 24,000 square foot headquarters reflects their status as a global leader: sophisticated and professional, innovative and future-focused. This new location mirrors the new branding: fresh, feminine and elegant, while integrating the two businesses in one environment with a unified look and feel. Products from Coty's iconic brands served as the inspiration for the soft, luxurious palette and delicate details.
An elegant, feminine palette of finishes, coupled with a clean, white backdrop, echoes the luxurious look and feel of Coty’s brands. The open plan of the office is equipped with dedicated bench-style workstations, interspersed with meeting tables for collaboration, private meeting rooms, and quiet telephone rooms.
A comfortable cafe for meals, meetings, and focused work becomes a jewel in this sophisticated, luxurious space. The café can be reconfigured for town hall meetings and events for up to 120 people.
Excitingly, this project establishes a North American architecture and furniture standard for all upcoming Coty offices on the continent, creating a new framework for Coty facilities on this side of the globe.
